At the hardware level, AMD Rapid Virtualisation Indexing utilises Nested Page Table technology that allows virtual machines to directly manage memory. Utilising on-die silicon resources, Rapid Virtualisation Indexing helps reduce hypervisor cycles and the associated performance penalty that is commonly associated with virtualization. |
