Enhanced Virtualisation Performance

The Dell PowerEdge M805 Blade Server allows quick virtualization with software from leading industry vendors with an SD card for embedded hypervisors.

At the hardware level, AMD Rapid Virtualisation Indexing utilises Nested Page Table technology that allows virtual machines to directly manage memory. Utilising on-die silicon resources, Rapid Virtualisation Indexing helps reduce hypervisor cycles and the associated performance penalty that is commonly associated with virtualization.
